David Fink hits his approach shot. His 74-71—145 total secured him second place behind his Iolani teammate, Lorens Chan.
Henry Park of Kealakehe High School on the island of Hawaii putts for birdie. Park was the third golfer tied for third at 146.
Iolani freshman Lorens Chan set the pace with a first round 69. He followed that up with a 74 to win by two strokes.

This year’s tournament featured lots and lots of nice extra touches, such as a welcoming banquet and souvenir backpacks thanks to the generosity of the Kaanapali Golf Resort. Here, cooked to order hamburgers, hot dogs and cold drinks are prepared for players as they complete play.
The top 15 individuals (out of a starting field of 120 players) receive medals for their outstanding play.

Waiakea boys finished fourth with a 310-318—628 total, which is based on the team’s top four scores.
Punahou boys shot 311-313—624, which landed them third place honors.
Moanalua boys charged up the leaderboard with a final round 306, edging them into second with a 619 total.
Iolani boys dominated this year’s tournament, running away to an 18-shot victory with scores of 299-302—601.
